Checklist for Supply of Digital Data

• CMYK Graphics should be scanned at 300dpi minimum to final size, and saved as a single file EPS or TIFF format.

• Greyscale scans should be no less than 300dpi mimimum to final size, and saved as a single file EPS or TIFF format.

• Line Art scans should be no less than 600dpi and preferably 1200dpi.

• When using fine lines or rules in your document, please use 0.25pt as a minimum. Do not use hairlines.

• A proof should always accompany any digital file sent so that we have a reference.

• For data that is supplied in Word which includes graphics please ensure that the graphics are of the correct resolution and colour mode ie. greyscale, cmyk or black and white bitmap. because invariably these will be embedded and cannot be altered.

• If supplying PDF’s make sure they were created at "Press" or "Print" resolution and have all fonts embedded.
** Ideally pre-flight documents with a package such as Markwarze ( www.markwarze.com ) or Pitstop (www.enfocus.com ) **
